Testimonials
I enjoyed every aspect of my stay at ALR. The staff is very focused on teaching – not preaching – the 12&12. The staff is friendly and always attentive to your needs as you go through difficult times. The house and the grounds are very homey and comfortable. I would recommend ALR to anyone who needs to get help for any addiction issues. It was a pleasure and a great learning experience. I feel very confident and free of self after my stay at ALR to stay sober and work with other addicts.
his place gave me my life back. It showed me what I can be and what I needed to do to be that person. The sense of brotherly love is amazing. It has the perfect balance of work and play and does wonders for your mind, body, and spirit! The staff truly cares about you and wants to see you get better. It gave me all the tools that I needed to achieve long-term recovery. I couldn’t have asked for a better treatment center!
I came in a broken state mentally, emotionally, and physically. The experience I have had at the retreat is something I never thought it was going to be between the staff and the community. I was able to really work on myself more than I ever thought was possible. I’m so grateful for this place. I have no regrets in coming here.
Two and a half years ago my younger brother came through these doors and since the completion of his stay at Any Length, he has maintained his sobriety. Seeing the change in him inspired me to get help for my addiction and ALR was the obvious choice. The experience here was powerful. Staff was always very helpful, very professional and knowledgeable about recovery. They always took the time to explain everything thoroughly about recovery. I am extremely grateful for this experience. The program has taught me how to handle everyday life situations. I will always be grateful for the love that was shown to me.
I love this facility so much. The staff and the people here have become my family. This facility does a very good job explaining the disease and how there’s a deeper problem that needs to be fixed. They provide us with the tools we need to deal with everyday life. There’s just something about this place. As soon as you walk in you feel the presence of life and love.
This place truly got me from my lowest point to my highest, and guided me to where I am today. The 12 step program taught at ALR has been more beneficial than anywhere I’ve gone previously. It gave me all the tools I needed to achieve long term sobriety and I am forever grateful for the staff and guests that I stayed with.
God is working through Robert White, the rest of the staff, and anyone behind the scenes of any length retreat to help others attain and maintain sobriety. They connect with the clients in a way I’ve never experienced before in other treatment centers. There’s genuine care and concern for the development and well-being not only of the man seeking help but for their family as well. I can’t say enough about how much my time at the retreat has changed my life. Even now on a daily basis, I’m in touch with multiple guys I met through the retreat. The brotherhood developed between clients and staff alike is similar to the bond you create with guys you grew up on a sports team with. Love these guys love any length retreat. If you yourself need help or if you’re concerned about a loved one don’t hesitate to reach out to any length.
I have only good things to say about Any Length Retreat. It has saved my son’s life. Before I sent him there we had no hope. I tried getting him help here in N.J. but it was impossible. There was always a lack of beds or they wouldn’t take state insurance. We were told sorry, good luck far too many times. With the help of CFC Loud and Clear, we found ALR. My son struggled at first. He really went screaming and kicking. I thought they would kick him out, but somehow they got through to him. After 2 months he came home. It was the happiest I had ever seen him. Unfortunately, Dan did not seek out support here in N.J. which is so important in recovery, and relapsed a few months later. I called Robert and Logan back at Any Length Retreat, and together we were able to get Dan back down there. I have to say ALR is much more affordable than anything I’ve checked here in N.J. Most are 3 times more expensive. They picked him up at the airport, and the staff has been great. Thank you Matt for the weekly updates! They really teach the 12 step program and live it. I truly believe it is Robert’s mission to help the guys find a way to a happy, drug-free, sober life. This time Dan is going to finish the program and move into a sober house. I don’t know what the future holds for Dan but I know he will leave there with a strong foundation. I am forever grateful for the hope that Any Length Retreat has given us.
This place will always be very near and dear to my heart. This is the place you go when you’re finally done killing yourself. The retreat will teach you a way of life that we were meant to live. I’ve been to many different facilities that shove meds down your throat and offer known answers on how to live in long-term recovery. Every member of the staff at the retreat are in recovery themselves, so anything they teach you is from real experience, not a textbook. They all are there to help you become a better person. The founder of the retreat is probably one of the most influential people I have ever met. He runs this program with so much love for others. This place will build you back up to be the man God wants you to be. Like I said if you’re completely down then come here, and the miracle will happen if you follow direction.
I am writing to say thank you to Any Length Retreat. As a resident of New Jersey, I witnessed my son, a 42 yr old married man, with 3 teenage children become involved with the exploding drug epidemic. Any Length Retreat is located in a country setting, tranquil and free from temptation, allowing the person to concentrate on themselves. My son was fortunate to be placed into an intensive program offered by Any Length Retreat. At Any Length Retreat he was interviewed, counseled and given a program to follow with hands on guidance. Also, working with the 12 step program he was able to fill the void that troubled him. After 2 months at Any Length Retreat he was transferred to Any Length sober living and continued to follow the 12 step program/way of life. At sober living he continued his program and entered the workforce, giving him back his self respect. He is now 12 months clean, Alcohol & drug free. Any Length saved his life by giving him the tools to analyze, think, and to make the decisions to stay sober and drug-free. The recovery coaches are men that are free of substance use and they have tremendous insight and know how to listen, talk and guide these men, re-enforcing the program each step of the way. I can’t put into words how thankful we are, and how very, very important programs like this are. We can’t allow success stories such as this to become the exception rather than the rule. What we are sure of, is that programs such as this are of the utmost importance. Again, I will close with, Thank You on behalf of myself and my equally grateful family.
When my son came to me with the proposal to attend Any Length I was pretty fed up to say the least. It was actually a resident who had been there for several months that contacted me. He reported that Any Length had saved his life and was imploring me to find a way for my son to enter treatment. His plea was so passionate and heartfelt I reached deep into my reserves and made the sacrifice once again to try to save my son’s life. I’m so glad I did. He had not been clean or sober for more than a couple of months and this would be his second rehab. I balked at the fee but after reading their testimonials and speaking to the staff I made the sacrifice. I’m thrilled that I did. He is finally living the life he dreamed of. Any Length helped him develop insight and awareness into his substance use and fostered in him a stronger desire and motivation to change. He is finally out on his own and for the first time in his life I feel that he is truly happy. If you are serious about recovery Any Length has the tools. Don’t wait another day, tomorrow may be too late.
Any Length Retreat is the real deal. As a non-believer, I was hesitant to engage in a 12-Step approach to recovery, but thus far all other methods had proven futile for me. Any Length is entirely staffed by recovered addicts from a variety of faiths (or lack thereof) and made it clear that the process of recovery doesn’t require a religious worldview to be lasting and effective. My addiction to alcohol was destroying my life and the lives of those around me. After 45 days at the retreat, which is a gorgeous property on the outskirts of Austin, I left with a fresh perspective on life equipped with new and better tools to manage the attitudes and conditions that I previously medicated with alcohol. In addition to helping me achieve and maintain recovery from addiction, Any Length also put me in connection with a robust and uplifting community in Austin and beyond. From my perspective, Any Length offers the gold standard in recovery approaches. I know I’m biased from the success I’ve experienced and witnessed with them, but the guys who are running it are genuinely committed to helping others achieve the kind of freedom they have in recovery. The company could quite easily adjust their program to acquire clinical certification so that they could milk insurance companies for inflated expense, a practice that is unfortunately all too common in the industry, but they are passionately against this mindset. The company has legitimate vision and hard-coded ethics, attributes evident in all they do, and it’s refreshing to see that kind of integrity in an organization meeting people when they’re at their weakest. If you or a loved one is struggling with persistent relapse and is serious about kicking their addiction, Any Length is the ideal place to start. I speak not only from my personal experience, but also from the experience of my brothers in their program.
My experience at Any Length Retreat was unlike any other treatment center I have been to. I came in broken and hopeless, wanting to die. I have been to treatment before and have had some time sober but have always missed a few key components, have relapsed multiple times, and had problems identifying what was missing and where I went wrong. The staff and community helped me to see those things, have a new experience and correct the areas of my recovery that I was lacking in before. I had knowledge of the 12 steps and the Big Book but lacked practical application and how to implement them into my life. The staff taught me more than I thought possible and it has been extremely helpful. They were caring and thorough with helping me through my pain and struggles. The curriculum was an accurate representation of what recovery is and how it looks in daily life. It is a nice facility with good vibes and plenty of space for quiet time to yourself when needed, as well as helpful groups and studies to learn about the steps and Big Book. All the staff there work a strong 12 step program and share their experiences in recovery to help you. It was very beneficial being there with a smaller number of guests, as opposed to the other treatment centers I have been to. I was able to experience what the fellowship is all about and develop strong bonds and real brotherhood. This facility helped me learn to love myself and my life again. The Alumni would come visit, which was something I found very helpful and has been very beneficial to my own recovery since I have gotten out of treatment. I am forever grateful for this special place and for the loving and caring people there who are dedicated to helping alcoholics and addicts, as well as their families.
This experience has been a huge answer to many prayers! Life is good today because of the change that this experience has produced inside of me! I am extremely grateful to “Bobby” Robert White and his family for believing in me and in the Power that changes lives still today. If you have a loved one suffering from addiction please send them here! They really know how to help people like us. I can honestly say if my mother, son, sister or father were suffering from addiction I would want them to have this experience! God bless you and keep praying!
Absolutely the best recovery center in Texas- hands down. The staff here are incredible. I like to refer to them as the “Dream Team.” All of them are very strong in their recovery with great passion for helping others. I’ve seen countless men have life-changing experiences as guests in the ALR community and carry it with them as they leave. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for any men struggling with alcoholism/addiction.
After working in the treatment field, and going through 11 treatment centers myself, I have to say something beautiful happens here. They have a team of trustworthy, respectful, and loving men. I have had many friends that have gone through their program, and I have watched them transform their lives. The success rate they have is beautiful. I recommend Any Length to anyone who has a desire to stop drinking or using.
As a person in long-term recovery, I understand the disease of addiction and the devastation it can cause for the entire family. When the time was right for an immediate family member to enter treatment, I chose Any Length’s Retreat. Their spiritual approach to the 12 steps of recovery and inclusion of the family as a whole, provides a well rounded platform for all to recover. I HIGHLY recommend Any Length for anyone serious about finding peace and joy in recovery.
